The founders.

Four of us, building Near Mint from Hong Kong.

Portrait of Jeffrey Shi

Jeffrey Shi

Co-Founder & CEO

Jeffrey leads Near Mint's technical direction and product development. Academics were never where he excelled; his focus has always been on building things of his own and scaling them into something real. That drive took him to the top of competitive gaming, where he ranked as the number one Brawlhalla player in Asia for two consecutive years. His approach is simple: pick something hard and work at it until he's mastered it. As he puts it, obsession beats talent.

Portrait of Isaac Chau

Isaac Chau

Co-Founder

Isaac leads Near Mint's business development and investor relations. He handles the commercial side of the company, from building relationships with investors to leading negotiations. His background is in property and development, with internships at major Hong Kong names including Sun Hung Kai Properties, Nan Fung Group, and the Urban Renewal Authority. That experience gave him a sharp eye for value and a comfort with high-stakes negotiation that he now brings to Near Mint.

Portrait of Marco Liu

Marco Liu

Co-Founder

Marco shapes Near Mint's product direction and vision. Where the rest of the team pushes to build and ship, Marco pushes to build things properly, with real attention to the culture and community a product lives in rather than just the numbers it puts up. He believes lasting success comes from understanding what you're making at its core, not just chasing quick wins, and he keeps that thinking at the center of Near Mint's decisions.

Portrait of Justin Ho

Justin Ho

Chief Vibes Officer

Justin holds the most important role at Near Mint: none that anyone can quite define. He attends meetings, nods thoughtfully, and has never once been the reason a deadline was missed, mostly by staying far away from the deadlines. His responsibilities include being listed on this page. He is very good at it. Morale is up 200% since he joined. Nobody has measured this. Nobody needs to.
